UI/UX Designer & Frontend Developer
I recently graduated from Michigan State University with dual bachelor's degrees in Computer Science and Media and Information. This unique educational combination has led me to specialize at the intersection of technology and user experience: UI/UX design and frontend development.
My Computer Science background provides solid technical foundations in programming and system design, while my Media and Information studies developed my understanding of human-computer interaction, visual communication, and user-centered design. This dual perspective allows me to approach problems from both the user's needs and the technical constraints.
What drives me most is creating digital experiences that are both functionally robust and intuitively designed. Whether I'm conducting user research to inform design decisions, prototyping interactive interfaces, or implementing responsive frontend code, I focus on bridging the communication gap between design intent and technical execution.
Outside of my professional work, I love creating illustrations and cartoon characters - it's my creative outlet and something that keeps me exploring visual storytelling and character design. I'm always sketching and exploring how visual elements can communicate ideas effectively.
I'm seeking opportunities where I can leverage this interdisciplinary approach to create meaningful, user-centered digital experiences.
